I would imagine Andrew being part of the British royal family was part of the appeal. Growing consensus seems to be that Epstein ran honeytrap operations with the help of Mossad and potentially Isreal and Russia. I would hazard a guess that hostile actors may have wanted kompromat on the british royal family.
