Peter Vaughan, 93…. Dead!

The star, best known for his roles as Maester Aemon on Game of Thrones and Grouty in Porridge, has died aged 93. Vaughan described himself as a character actor, saying he did not have the looks to play romantic leads.

Not sure if this is temporary (due to his foot) or long term (frailty), but if it’s the latter, he may not have that long left. Once an elderly person is at the stage where they have to be wheeled around everywhere, that’s kinda the beginning of the end.
