Peter Vaughan, 93…. Dead!

The star, best known for his roles as Maester Aemon on Game of Thrones and Grouty in Porridge, has died aged 93. Vaughan described himself as a character actor, saying he did not have the looks to play romantic leads.

Yes, because he is sure to be alive. People forget (myself included) he was giant in the UK television industry. If he had died at some point, no way the British news outlets would have not found out about it eventually. But I’m starting to think he’s more a 2027 cert, than a 2026 cert.
